About Us

Foley Industries Limited is a privately owned company situated in East Tamaki, Auckland.

The company was established in 1989, fabricating flue systems and components for the home heating industries, i.e wood fires and gasfires. We also fabricate flue systems for boilers, flue products and components for the air conditioning and hot house industries, as well as a range of general sheet metal fabricaton work. Our customers include leading manufacturers of wood fires and gas fires, retailers and installers, from Northland to Invercargill.

Foley Industries aims to be amongst the leaders of our industry. Our "Energy Saver Flue System" saves up to 40% of energy by preventing heated room air from escaping through ventilation cavity, reduces wind and traffic noises, and acts as a fire stop in the event of house fire.

We have a vast range of machines including lockformers, seamers, guillotines, swaging machines, welders, seam welders, adjustable bend machines, plasma cutters, nibblers, folders and through our associated company, CNC turret punches and press breaks.

Our flue systems for wood fires were tested to appendix F AS/NZs2918:2001. The joint New Zealand/Australian standard AS/NZs2918:2001 was prepared by the Australian and New Zealand standards committee CS-062. It supersedes Australian and New Zealand standards As 2918:2001, and Nzs 7421-1990. The objective of the new standard AS/NZs2918:2001 is to provide manufactures, installers and consumers with means for determining the requirements for the CORRECT AND SAFE installation of domestic solid fuel burning heating appliances and their associated floor protectors and flue systems.

We use cad cam programs for our drawings, and computerized programmes for drawing sheetmetal patterns to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
